After swimming graduate assistant Matt Bos finished his master's degree at Eastern in 2002, he went overseas to coach in New Zealand. Since then, he has trained Olympic caliber athletes and was coach on the rise. However, when long-time Eastern swim coach Ray Padovan retired, Bos was drawn back to his former school. (0) comments

It's that time of the year when summer is winding down. It always seems like the time flies right after the fourth of July. This time means two things. One important thing is training. For the fall sports, this time is like a countdown until preseason. (0) comments

Eastern center Ousmane Cisse was recently named to the 2007-08 National Association of Basketball Coaches Honor Court. The organization recognizes collegiate basketball student-athletes who have excelled in academics. Cisse finished his sophomore year for the Panthers while leading the team for the second season in rebounds and blocked shots. (0) comments
