SUV flips over on Lincoln Avenue

A Jeep SUV flipped over after hitting another vehicle late Friday afternoon, just west of Ninth Street on Lincoln Avenue. Neither the drivers nor the passenger of the vehicles were injured in the accident. Charleston Police Officer Tony West said the SUV was traveling west on Lincoln Avenue when it crashed into a car turning north on Ninth Street. (1) comment

The Caswell sisters grew up with music. Their mom was an organist, and their dad was a musicologist. "We always had music in our home," said Sara Caswell. Portraits find a home

Sarah Greenwald found the namesake of Weller Hall in a closet. Greenwald, a senior biology major, found a portrait of Anne Weller, whom she calls Annie, in a closet last fall. The portrait was in bad condition, so Greenwald went to Mark Hudson, director of Housing and Dining Services. (1) comment

Campus Action Party: The facts: CAP only has one candidate running, Dominic Capparelli. Capparelli is a sophomore communications major from the south side of Chicago and is running for Student Body President. Director of Student Life Ceci Brinker said this is the first year an independent party has run in the spring elections. (0) comments

Sigma Pi, Alpha Sigma Alpha and Sigma Pi Epsilon were the big winners in Tugs on Saturday for the conclusion of Greek Week at a brisk and rainy Campus Pond. Tuggers battled cold, mud and the occasional shower aside from their opponents on the other side of the pond. (8) comments
