Peer Helper meeting
Peer Helper is having an informational meeting at 7 p.m. March 6 in Lumpkin Hall Room 2041.
Peer Helper is an organization that helps incoming students get adjusted to college life.
Veteran Peer Helpers will be present to answer any questions and help give a better insight of the peer leader/peer mentee relationship.

Professor's presentation takes a look at life on the farm
As part of Booth Library's ongoing "Farm Life" exhibit, Karla Kennedy-Hagan, an assistant professor in family and consumer sciences, will give a presentation titled "Diet, Health and Physical Activity Out on the Farm: Taking a Look Back in Time to Compare the Years."
The presentation will take a look at the life of farming families of the past and how things have changed throughout the years.
The discussion will take place at 4 p.m. today in Booth Library's Conference Room 4440.
"Bread and Roses" to be shown in Buzzard
A Women's History and Awareness Month movie will be shown at 7 tonight in the Buzzard Auditorium.
"Bread and Roses" is a film about two Mexican sisters who work as cleaners and try to unionize.
The film was released in 2000 and was nominated for the Golden Palm Award at the Cannes Film Festival. It also won the 2002 Imagen Award for Best Theatrical Feature Film.
