Eastern junior left-hander Tyler Kehrer struck out a career-high 14 batters in a complete game, one-hit shutout as the Panthers completed a three-game sweep of Southern Illinois-Edwardsville with a 5-0 victory Sunday at Coaches Stadium. Football: Kicker Austin Signor comes through both squads

Eastern kicker Austin Signor did a little bit of everything for the Eastern football team in the annual Spring game. Signor scored the games only points (three field goals), in addition to the only touchdown (an 18 yard run on a botched snap which was called back because kickers were not allowed to be rushed or tackled) in the White team's 6-3 victory against the Blue team Saturday at O'Brien Stadium. The Eastern softball team still has not found a way to win, but the Panthers feel much better, even after a series loss to regular season league champion Jacksonville State.
