Archie Bunker, the character from the hit television show "All in the Family," changed the face of racism in America with his extremely bigoted comments against every race different from his. Bunker showed everyone how some stereotypical comments and beliefs could hurt and anger those people being attacked. (3) comments

Wall of oppression to tear down hate

The words of hate and oppression painted on more than one hundred bricks for "Writing on the Wall" will now be built up for all to see. "Writing on the Wall" was presented this year by the Residence Hall Association to raise awareness about diversity on college campuses. (0) comments

The professors being honored are Daniel Carter, Steve Benner, Ryan Hendrickson and Sally Turner. Student directors showcased their talents at the Student Directed One Acts this weekend. Bailey Murphy, a senior theatre arts major, directed the play "The God of Hell," which is about a couple in Wisconsin who gets a visit from a government official who warns the wife about something terrible that is coming.
