The Eastern tennis teams are in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament again. Despite dropping both matches Saturday to Murray State at Darling Courts, both the Eastern men's and women's tennis teams have qualified for the OVC Tournament. The Eastern softball team had to wait one day longer to play Tennessee Tech. Despite tornadoes and torrential downpour Friday in Cookeville, Tenn., the Panthers came away with their first win against the Golden Eagles since 2004, and snapped an 11-game losing streak to TTU. (0) comments
Despite having its 13-game win streak snapped, the Eastern baseball team won its fourth straight Ohio Valley Conference series. The Panthers won 30-3 hitting nine home runs against Tennessee Martin Saturday in Martin, Tenn. Eastern (24-6, 9-1 OVC) split a doubleheader Friday, winning 10-3 and losing 13-3. (0) comments
