Eastern officials will announce their final decision on changes to campus parking this week. President Bill Perry said the announcement would be sent by e-mail to students, faculty and staff. Kent Kille, a visiting scholar and professor from the College of Wooster, will present "The Role of the United Nations during the (Barack) Obama Presidency" at 7 p.m. today in the Lumpkin Hall Auditorium. Students with the Newman Catholic Center were riled during Thanksgiving break. The people of the Catholic center, along with members of the School of Americas Watch, protested the U.S. Army School of Americas at Fort Benning in Georgia. Kim Broddock, a freshmen elementary education major, believes having concealed weapons on campus would cause unheralded violence at Eastern.
