Nearly 500 people attended the Diva Drag Show 2008 Monday night. With a "prom night" theme, audience members enjoyed an evening of glamorous entertainment from drag queens, as well as the show's newest performers, drag kings. Watch the video for a glimps (0) comments

The 2008 Diva Drag Show, hosted by EIU Pride, drew a crowd of more than 500 to the prom-themed show Monday night. This year's show featured not only drag queens, but drag kings who performed in an amateur session during the show. Click here to view the photo gallery. (0) comments

Several representatives from different student groups, including Women's Studies, the Asian American Association, the Black Student Union and EIU Pride, reclaimed the use of slurs in today's society during a panel in Lumpkin Hall on Tuesday night. Students discussed how they felt about certain words and reflected on how derogatory slurs are used. (2) comments
