All on-campus classes that are scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. or after tonight are canceled because of inclement weather, the university announced. The university made the announcement shortly before 6 p.m. tonight on its website. The Charleston City Council will vote tonight on a proposed historic district on Sixth and Seventh streets between Eastern and the square. The National Weather Service in Lincoln issued a winter storm warning at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The warning was in effect until 6 a.m. today. Heather Webb said plagiarism and collusion are the most common forms of academic dishonesty at Eastern. Collusion occurs when a group of students works together on an individual assignment. "There are also some forms of academic dishonesty that students may not readily recognize as being dishonest, such as fabricating a doctor's note in an effort to be excused from a class or to gain additional time to complete an assignment," Webb, director of judicial affairs, said.
