Arrest warrant issued in home invasion

An arrest warrant has been issued for Nathan R. Evans in connection with a Nov. 19 home invasion.
Two victims reported that two masked suspects entered their home, in the 1500 block of First Street, at about 3:35 a.m. and attacked and battered them.
According to a Charleston Police Department press release, the arrest warrant was issued on Tuesday for Evans. The release noted that Evans, 24, might live in Decatur.
Another suspect has been arrested in connection with the home invasion.
On Nov. 21, Armando Hernandez, 26, was arrested at his Sullivan residence. He is currently being held in the Coles County Jail while awaiting his court appearance.
Home invasion is a class X felony that can result in a mandatory 6- to 30-year prison sentence with conviction.
