Our Take: 'Ded' Zeppelin?

Abstract:
Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant once again hushed rumors of a reunion tour that British tabloid newspaper, "The Sun," published on Sept. 26. The remainder of the band has been rehearsing with another singer, one they can go on tour with next summer.

Every weekend at night before I go out, I like to get myself in a great mood by putting on some loud, live Led Zeppelin....

Lots of ups and downs on this roller coaster ride. I too am a huge fan of Robert and Jimmy and John Paul and am getting bored with it. It is quite clear though that Robert was the workhorse of the band. Clearly he is much more interested in taking a path less traveled. His solo projects have been great and inspired. I would love to hear another Plant/Kraus record. In comparison, Jimmy and John Paul haven't done a whole lot since Led Zeppelin. Proving the fact that they aren't as interested in music as much as Robert is. Jimmy and John Paul should be able to create music without a singer...

There will be a tour of Jim,John and Jase with a replacement singer. It will sell wildly and concert goers will have fun merely because of who is on stage. What makes me sick is all the delicate tip toeing around Plant's solo jobs and his creative moving-on's since 1983. Besides, Jason is used to the idea of touring with an older rock band who replaced their lead singer in order to tour and make people smile. Not a "FOREIGN" concept! I too wish the three of them well on their future projects. Well put Bobby.
