Football: Panthers come from behind for win

Abstract:
NORMAL - Eastern Illinois scored two late touchdowns and a field goal to secure a 25-21 win against Illinois State on Saturday night at Hancock Field.

It was the first time since a Tony Romo-led Eastern Illinois team beat Illinois State in 2002 that the Panthers had beaten the Redbirds....

It was really satisfying to watch EIU win tonight.

Wow, I must say I'm jealous! I wish I'd been there! :)

As an alum, I've followed EIU football since 2005, and I've always been anxious for the Panthers to beat the Redbirds. They've been close before, and I'm happy for them that they were able to pull it off Saturday. E-I-E-I-E-I-U!
