Abstract:
By the time classes start tomorrow, I will have been gone from Charleston for at least a few hours. I'm on my way to Austin, Texas, in a van full of excited (and probably sleeping) journalism majors and professors. We're heading to Texas for the College Media Advisers Convention....

I really like how you think a few hours at some conference prepared you to lead a group of kids and run a paper... must have been SOME conference.

And to be honest, no conference is going to help you get a job. Not when there are thousands of people unemployed... so have fun on your vacation to Texas.
