Young black men across the country gather together wearing similar colors and sharing hand signals and calls that are only distinguishable to those within certain circles. Those dressed in red share hand signals and calls that are only shared among others in red - and the same applies to those dressed in blue and those who wear black and gold....

Wow,

I was unaware of this "minority today" publication, but I'd like to congratulate it's contributors for making a well written medium. These stories are how ALL college publications should read.

I sincerely hope you're being sarcastic. This article is teeming with so many structural, punctuational and grammatical errors that it's extremely hard to concentrate on what's being written.

I can't read a DEN article without seeing some lengthy essay you post criticizing students' work or bickering with annonymous comments.

If you're looking for attention or validtion, you got it, because I laugh at everything you write. Not because you're wrong, but because you take so much time out of your day to fight with college kids on the internet via a newspaper blog.

You banter on, citing references to prove a stupid point to people that don't eiven post their names. You're a keyboard jockey, and a grumpy one. Lighten up. Post something with value rather than feeding useless crticism and argument.
